Elixir of Life

Mysterious places with secrets untold
Hide keys to the future in goblets of gold
Within them some soil and the roots of a tree
Upon pure white sand soaked with salts of the sea
There are babbling brooks and the splash of an ocean
Swirling and whirling around this sweet potion
The greenest of grasses, the coldest of snow
With silvery dew-drops, all settled below
Hints of a zephyr with gusts from a breeze
And fistfuls of fog which may threaten to freeze
Some chunks of the moon wrapped in webs freshly spun
On ageless old rocks baked with heat from the sun
A whole host of wonders so easy to find
And if you can’t see them just open your mind!
